Positive Psychology Solutions is a psychological wellness practice established by Kelly Reznikoff, M.A. that is devoted to helping individuals reduce stress and anxiety, improve emotional resilience and live richer, fuller lives with more meaning, purpose and happiness.
Positive Psychology is a "psychology for all" founded on the belief that mental health is not merely the absence of mental illness. This newer branch of psychology capitalizes on modern cognitive neuroscience to help people feel "north of neutral" by employing solutions for a more positive mental well-being.
Clients are individuals seeking solutions-focused psychological tools, techniques and coping skills, rather than long-term psychotherapy.
Positive Psychology Solutions offers private individual sessions, or small group workshops in our comfortable spa-like office in downtown Fairfield, Connecticut.
Some clients choose one or more introductory sessions on Mindfulness or Happiness, while others prefer a customized weekly program meeting over a period of months that helps move them forward to where they want to be in their life.

Mindfulness teaches psychological tools and techniques that enable us to be aware and present in our lives rather than overly reactive or overwhelmed by everyday events. The concepts and practices (including meditations) allow us to respond to life’s pain and stresses in a way that's more skillful and compassionate to ourselves and those around us.
One of the greatest findings in psychology in recent decades is that people have the ability to choose one thought over another. Through examining negative thought patterns, we'll work to get you "unstuck" and re-wire your thinking towards more realistic and emotionally healthy thoughts that serve you better.
Philosophers and deep thinkers have long pondered the meaning of life and the question of happiness. Today, the most popular classes at Yale, Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania teach the new science of happiness. I'll teach you the practices and habits researchers have found can make us happier in my "Happiness 101" program.
Kelly holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Boston University, a Certificate in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, training in Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training from the Beck Institute. Prior to establishing Positive Psychology Solutions, Kelly worked as an Organizational Psychologist for Fortune 100 companies helping employees reach their potential.
